Job Summary: This position will support LLUHS's strategic plan and the organization's mission to continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ, while embracing the core values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Wholeness. Reports to the Assistant Vice President of HRM. The Executive Director- Talent Acquisition & Engagement is responsible for the development and execution of the overall talent acquisition and recruitment initiatives, strategies and objectives. Is responsible for diversity recruitment and pipelining, process development, tracking and reporting, training and auditing team for compliance. Oversees the hiring and onboardingprocesses. Develops, establishes, builds, executes, and connects talent strategies, systems and processes aligned with business strategies and objectives. Provides strategic directive, staffing expertise, advice and counsel to Management at all levels within the organization on a variety of staffing, recruitment and engagement issues. Develops and executes Employee Engagement initiatives that will increase retention. Performs other duties as needed. Job Specifications: Broad knowledge and full understanding of all related HR functions with significant experience involving staffing, compensation, employee relations and federal and state laws. Knowledgeable about best practices in the recruitment, employment, diversity and social networking. Advanced skills maximizing Applicant tracking Systems, IPED and general reporting systems and high proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong customer focus and ability to effectively and quickly build relationship and establish trust, respect, competence and confidence. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required. Extremely high attention to detail, excellent planning, organizing and follow through abilities. Demonstrates ability to solve difficult problems with effective situations. Creative, proactive, progressive and independent thinking. Hold self and others accountable for achieving agreed upon results. Strong business acumen. Strong cross-group collaboration, influencing and motivating skills. Master's Degree preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required. Minimum five years of leadership experience in Human Resources required. SPHR certification preferred. Valid California Driver's license required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
