Director-Managed Care RN

Job Summary: The Director-Managed CareRN is responsible for oversight over ambulatory care services provided by the Managed Care clinical staff (which may include RN, LVN, MSW, and community health workers.) This position will direct and manage personal for assigned areas and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professional to manage chronic disease process and transitions of care. Ensures areas of responsibility are survey-ready at all times in compliance LLUH policy, regulatory agencies and other inspecting agencies. Performs other duties as needed. Job Specifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required. Master's Degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum 10 years of nursing experience demonstrating competency in clinical nursing, leadership, administration, education, and care management required. Lean Six Sigma certification preferred. Able to use computer and software programs necessary to the position, e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access; operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Able to communicate effectively, think critically, work independently, perform basic math/ statistical functions, manage multiple assignments, compose written material. Able to work well under pressure, problem solve, prioritize workload, and recall information with accuracy. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position. 83789

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
